As an experienced Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or hospitality supervisor, you will bring strong operational knowledge across food, beverage and gaming, along with a genuine passion for leading people and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will hold a current RSA and Responsible Person Badge and be able to provide two hospitality references.

  • Exceptional customer service with a consistently positive attitude
  • Previous experience supervising hospitality operations
  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
  • Sound understanding of food safety, liquor licensing and Work Health & Safety requirements
  • Experience handling cash, reconciliations and venue security procedures
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
  • Responsible Person Badge (essential)
  • Food and beverage service experience
  • Gaming, TAB and Keno experience (preferred)
  • Basic Gaming Certificate (preferred)
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays (essential)

ABOUT THE JOB ๐Ÿป
We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel, support the Venue Manager in delivering exceptional service, maintain compliance, and lead our team.

This role is available on either a casual or full-time basis, with evening and weekend availability essential.

Full-time or part-time employment is available with an annual salary of up to $80,000 available for the right candidate, depending on experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising the daily operations of the hotel to ensure smooth, efficient and profitable service
  • Leading shifts across the bar, bistro, gaming, bottleshop and accommodation operations
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and promptly resolving customer enquiries and complaints
  • Supporting the recruitment, induction, coaching and ongoing development of team members
  • Supervising, motivating and allocating duties to staff throughout each shift
  • Monitoring service standards and ensuring consistent delivery of quality food, beverage and gaming experiences
  • Opening and closing the venue, including cash handling, reconciliations, banking preparation and security procedures
  • Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering, stock rotation and stock control
  • Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing legislation, Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements, gaming regulations and all relevant policies
  • Ensuring compliance with food safety standards, Work Health & Safety legislation and venue procedures
  • Maintaining accurate operational records, incident reporting and shift documentation
  • Supporting the Venue Manager to achieve operational, financial and customer service objectives
  • Assisting with the implementation of promotional activities and venue initiatives
  • Liaising effectively with the kitchen, front of house and management teams to ensure efficient daily operations
  • Maintaining high presentation standards throughout all customer and back-of-house areas
  • Acting as the senior manager on duty and making operational decisions in the absence of the Venue Manager
  • Undertaking general food and beverage service duties as required
  • Performing any other reasonable duties as directed by Management
