You’re a hands-on leader who knows how to run a gaming room, support a team and keep service standards high during a busy shift. You give clear direction, handle sensitive matters with discretion and stay calm when a guest or team member needs your help. You know your way around gaming machines and have a good eye for bar presentation.

THE NON-NEGOTIABLES 🚨

• Proven experience in gaming management or a similar leadership role, with a solid understanding of gaming operations and compliance.
• Experience rostering, training and managing staff.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate and Responsible Person (RP) Badge.
• RSG1 as a minimum 
• Solid knowledge of beverage products and bar presentation standards.
• Availability to work up to 45 hours a week across a seven-day roster, including opens, late closes and weekends.

ABOUT THE JOB 🎯
As part of the Eyre Hotel management team, you’ll own the gaming room and set the standard for day-to-day operations in consultation with the Venue Manager and Group Gaming Operations. 

• Lead the gaming team on shift, set clear expectations and build a positive team culture.
• Oversee daily gaming operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensure the team follows gaming regulations and venue procedures.
• Model welcoming, responsible service and handle sensitive or challenging guest situations professionally.
• Roster staff to meet trade demands, train new team members and coach the team on the floor.
• Give regular feedback, recognise good work and address performance concerns early and respectfully.
• Maintain gaming room and bar presentation standards and work with the wider management team to keep shifts running smoothly.
