The Maylands Hotel blends old-world charm with modern hospitality and award-winning food and beverage offerings — including taking home Best Bistro (Metro) at the AHA Awards 🏆 We are currently looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our front-of-house team! ABOUT THE ROLE 👀This is a hands-on hospitality role working across our bars, restaurant, functions, and customer service areas. No two shifts are the same, and we’re looking for team members who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while delivering genuine hospitality experiences. Most of our available hours are suited to applicants aged 18+ due to bar and gaming operations within the venue. Previous customer service or hospitality experience is essential, and while bar experience is highly regarded, we are happy to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn 🍸 If you are also interested in learning gaming operations, that’s a huge bonus! We are happy to support the right candidates in obtaining their RSG and further hospitality training. Your day-to-day may include: Delivering exceptional customer service across the venue Taking food and beverage orders and running meals Working across restaurant, bar, and function service areas Preparing and serving beverages Maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards across the venue Using POS systems and handling transactions accurately Supporting the team during busy service periods Creating a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere for guests Learning new skills across different areas of hospitality operations
ABOUT YOU 💫You’re someone who enjoys working with people and brings positive energy to every shift. You’re reliable, proactive, and happy to jump in wherever needed to support the team and guest experience. We’re looking for people who: Are 18 years or older Have previous customer service or hospitality experience Have a friendly, professional, and approachable communication style Thrive in busy environments and work well under pressure Have a team-first attitude and willingness to learn Are available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays Have an RSA (or are willing to obtain one immediately)
