Casual, 20+ hours per week 

Chef - Trade Qualified 

Sections - Grill, pans, larder 

THE JOB

You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure the smooth operation of our larder section, contributing your expertise and creativity to deliver the highest-quality dishes.

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes according to the established recipes and standards.
• Manage and maintain the fryer section, including stocks, ordering, and inventory control.
• Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations during service.
• Contribute menu development and innovation ideas, keeping up with culinary trends and customer preferences.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as required.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience for 2+ years as a Chef with ability to handle pressure.
• Proficiency in preparing various dishes with an emphasis on quality and presentation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
• Flexibility to work on a casual basis over a 7 day roster.
