THE JOB Leadership: As the Gaming Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated gaming staff, fostering a positive work environment, and promoting a strong team spirit. You'll be the guiding force behind the gaming department, inspiring and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer service. Gaming Operations: You will oversee the day-to-day gaming operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining the highest standards of quality and fairness in all gaming activities. Your goal is to create a safe and enjoyable gaming environment for our customers. Customer Service: Providing exceptional customer service is at the core of our values. As the Gaming Manager, you will lead by example in delivering outstanding service to our guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable gaming experience. Staff Training and Development: You will be responsible for training new gaming staff, providing ongoing coaching to the team, and identifying opportunities for skill development. Your goal is to nurture a highly skilled and motivated team. Performance Management: Monitoring staff performance and conducting regular evaluations will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide feedback, recognize achievements, and address any performance issues with professionalism and empathy. Compliance: Upholding gaming regulations and ensuring all staff members are well-versed in the relevant laws and guidelines is crucial. As the Gaming Manager, you will guarantee that the gaming department operates within legal boundaries.
ABOUT YOU As a key member of the management team, you will possess a hands-on approach, exceptional ability to multitask, and a passion for providing the ultimate customer experience. Utilising your leadership and service skills ensuring the comfort, safety, and enjoyment of our guests is our number one priority. ESSENTIAL SKILLS, PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven experience in a gaming management role or a similar leadership position.
- Strong passion for gaming and a solid understanding of gaming machines and the gaming industry.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead and inspire a team.
- Professionalism and the ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations and provide excellent customer service.
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance standards.
- A positive attitude, adaptability, and a solution-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work up to 45 hours a week over a 7-day roster including opens, closes, and weekends is required.
- Solid knowledge of beverage products and bar presentation
- Experience scheduling, managing, and training staff
- Can work under pressure and tight deadlines
- RSA and RP Badge (Essential)
- Basic and Advanced Gaming (Essential)
