With beautifully renovated spaces, premium food and beverage offerings, and a buzzing atmosphere, the Maylands Hotel is a venue that locals love returning to time and time again π» We are currently looking for a customer-focused and reliable Gaming Attendant to join our front-of-house team! ABOUT THE ROLE πThis role is primarily based within our Gaming Room and Bar areas, helping deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, professional, and welcoming environment for all guests. We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and understands the importance of building genuine customer connections. Your day-to-day may include: Providing outstanding customer service to gaming and bar patrons Assisting customers with gaming machine enquiries and venue facilities Monitoring gaming areas and ensuring responsible gambling practices are upheld Preparing and serving beverages Handling cash, EFTPOS transactions, and payouts accurately Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of gaming and bar areas Working collaboratively with the wider hotel team during busy service periods Creating a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere for guests Supporting the team across other areas of the venue when required
ABOUT YOU π«You’re friendly, approachable, and confident speaking with people from all walks of life. You understand that great hospitality is about reading the room, anticipating guest needs, and creating positive experiences. You’ll ideally bring: Previous hospitality, bar, gaming, or customer service experience A positive attitude and strong work ethic Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A calm and professional approach in busy environments Strong attention to detail and cash handling accuracy A team-first attitude and willingness to help where needed Availability to work evenings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays
