🍳 The Role

As an experienced Chef, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality meals in a high-volume kitchen. You’ll support the Head Chef through busy services and help maintain the food standards our guests love.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting service during peak trade
• Preparing and presenting meals with consistency and pride
• Monitoring portion control, food wastage, and kitchen costs
• Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are met
• Collaborating with a passionate team to maintain a positive kitchen culture
• Contributing ideas for specials and seasonal menu items

Flexibility is essential, with availability across a 7-day roster including weekends, public holidays, and school holidays. We are open everyday for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. 

👨‍🍳 About You

You’re a confident, reliable team player who brings energy to every shift. You know how to work under pressure and stay calm when it counts. You’re passionate about food and people — and it shows.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• A Commercial Cookery Certificate (preferred but not essential)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a busy kitchen
• Experience working across pans, grill, larder, and fryer sections
• Strong communication, time management, and attention to detail
• Leadership potential and a commitment to continuous improvement
