Hey team!

We have multiple roles available to work as all-rounders across the Eyre Hotel. We are looking for customer service superstars to join our front-of-house legends. We are primarily looking for those who can work nights and weekends, this is where the big bucks are too! 

Currently, most of the hours we have available are in the Front Bar and Gaming Room, so if you are your RSA, TAB, or Gaming Training, that's a bonus! If you are over 18 and have the right attitude, we can organise this training for you. We also have occasional shifts that need covering in the restaurant and Pantry Cafe, so apply now and accelerate your hospo experience with us!

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine interest in all things customer service. The ideal candidate will have:

• A friendly and approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to customer care.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage with customers from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic knowledge of bars, gaming machines or a willingness to learn.
• The ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• A responsible and ethical approach, particularly when dealing with financial transactions.
• Flexibility to work evenings/nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Competent and trustworthy cash-handling skills
• RSA (essential)
• Basic/Attend Gaming Machines (Preferred)

ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a customer service superstar to join the team! The job needs someone with a can-do attitude, exceptional service skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The role requires a reliable person with availability for evenings, night shifts, and weekends.

• General waiting and service duties of food and beverages such as coffee, snacks, and bartending
• Professional service/supply, dispensing/mixing of liquor and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
• Welcoming and engaging with customers, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Assisting with gaming machine operations, answering phones, and checking accommodation guests in and out. 
• Providing excellent customer service by attending to customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Monitoring gaming areas to ensure compliance with gaming regulations and maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Assisting with cash handling, machine payouts, and general administration tasks.
• Promoting responsible gambling and service practices and offering support if required.
• Collaborating with team members to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the gaming lounge.
• Ensure a good understanding of all food and beverage offerings throughout the venue, including being well versed in all menus available, food service systems, and till operations
• Follow Safe Work Procedures at all times as
• Ensure personal compliance with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
• Any other duties directed by Management
